The technician tests the battery and charging system first. If it needs replacing, the new one goes in and the car is checked before we leave.

Which battery does my McLaren need?+
It depends on the model, year and engine, so there isn't one answer for every McLaren. Send those three and we'll tell you the size and type.
Does the new battery need coding?+
Some cars need the new battery registered to the car's computer. If yours does, we'll say so before we come and make sure we can do it.
What if my McLaren is a hybrid or electric?+
We replace the low-voltage battery, which hybrids and EVs have too. We don't work on the high-voltage drive battery.
Can I choose the brand?+
Yes, as long as that brand makes a battery in the right size and type for the car. We'll tell you what's available with the quote.
